Cate Mason is an associate at Kainos with a focus on evaluating, executing, and monitoring investment opportunities in the food and consumer product sectors. She enjoys partnering with portfolio management teams to develop and implement innovative strategies to strengthen operations and promote long-term growth.
Prior to joining Kainos in 2023, Cate was an analyst in the Power, Energy, and Infrastructure Group at Lazard, where she focused on M&A advisory, capital raises, and restructuring.
Cate graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. in Finance, a specialization in Alternative Asset Management, and a minor in Art History.
In her free time, Cate enjoys staying active, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
