Sarah is a founding partner of the firm with over 20 years of food and consumer products investment banking, M&A, and private equity experience. She is a member of the firm’s investment committee. At Kainos, she leads the firm’s investor relations and fundraising efforts.
Sarah is proud of the firm’s ability to help develop and grow their portfolio companies for the benefit of pension plans, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, and family offices and other investors who have made Kainos a part of their investment strategy. She is proud to have created a strong and distinguished investor base for the firm and loves the collaborative nature of the firm’s relationships with their investor base. Sarah is energized by her team and the firm’s partner companies and ultimately creating long-term value for Kainos’ investors.
Prior to Kainos, Sarah was a managing director at Investcorp where she spent three years as head of global IR and fundraising. She has also served as a managing director at Deutsche Bank in New York in the Financial Sponsors Group and Consumer Group, where she was responsible for food and consumer investment banking and middle market private equity coverage. Prior to this, she was a director in the Global Consumer Group within the investment bank at Citigroup Global Markets. She began her investment banking career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. During her investment banking tenure, she worked with the Kainos team and other private equity firms on numerous transactions in the food and consumer products sector. In 2017, Sarah was named as one of the Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisitions.
She received a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
Sarah serves on several boards that advance the arts in her community, including the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in America, the Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater, and the Monmouth County Historical Association. She is also an active member of the Women’s Association of Venture & Equity (WAVE) and the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN). She is committed to her four children and supports their activities in the performing arts and athletics.Back
